Our Story

Niwezeshe, meaning ’empower me’, was born from a realization that too many young people struggle in silence.

Founded by mental health advocate Brenda Mghendi, we grew from small dialogues to school-based clubs.

Our Why

Kenya’s youth face rising rates of anxiety and depression, rooted in poverty and unemployment

We view mental well-being as a social responsibility
